All of our Lambswool comes from Australia, where the Lambs graze on quality pastures.

Lambswool is the wool which comes from the first shearing of a sheep which is carried out when the lamb is around 7 months of age.  The fleece is 50mm or shorter.

 

The fibre is exceptionally soft, elastic, resilient and slippery and is without doubt the most supreme quality of sheep's wool available and wonderful to work with.

 

Lambs wool is famously water resistant and has a soft delicate feel, ideal for scarves and garments. 

It is also the most hypoallergenic of all wool.

Lambs wool fibres blend well with other natural or synthetic firbres, creating a wide array of different fabrics.
